Diana has been in the field of infection prevention for four years and she’s certified in infection prevention and control. Diana started out in nursing and has her Bachelor’s of Science in microbiology and a Master’s of Science in medical sciences. She describes her nursing journey as mission-driven, where excellence in patient care and helping others during the greatest time of need is her driving force. Diana loves educating patients and staff on infection prevention practices that will help everyone maintain and improve their well-being, both inside and outside the acute care setting. Diana is currently the Director of Infection Prevention and Control for Oviedo Medical Center and UCF Lake Nona Medical Center.
