About Calvalyn Day
My guest in this episode is Calvalyn Day. You might remember Calvalyn from episode 9 of the podcast. She’s a former school counselor and now works as a coach and consultant serving schools across the country. Calvalyn is also the author of two books: “Drag ‘Em Kicking and Screaming” and “Authentically Engaged Families”. She has a wealth of experience working with families and teens, and most importantly, Calvalyn is a mother to four daughters and a Mimi to four grandsons. I invited Calvalyn back to the podcast this week because I think it’s extremely important that we find better ways to communicate with our teens during our day to day communication, but also specifically regarding racism, anti-racism, and social justice.
