Jim Murphy is a former Air Force pilot and now a successful commerical airline pilot. Jim takes us on his journey from his first solo flight as a teenager, through his career in the military and into his current role as Captain of a 737 aircraft with American Airlines. Jim has decades of experience in the aviation industry and provides us with helpful tips for getting started as a pilot through various paths, with or without college. There are a few moments during our conversation where I’m left practically speechless. And for anyone that knows me, that rarely happens!
